APPLICATION FOCUS:
Liquids Terminal Project Awarded
AUMA-USA and its sales representative, ISCOLA, were awarded a significant petroleum liquids terminal project in central Louisiana. This terminal will serve North America’s growing crude, refined product and chemical industries and is strategically located next to major supply networks, demand centers and can provide desirable export capacity. AUMA-USA is supplying 210 SAEx actuators with AMEx motor controls, mounted on gate valves.
The project was awarded to AUMA-USA due to unique product features and benefits like its plug and socket connections, product flexibility, ease of calibration and wiring, low maintenance and minimal reliance on spare parts. AUMA-USA's strong and growing lists of installations and references were also of instrumental importance to the end user. ISCOLA's local automation and service capabilities as well as their ability to competitively package AUMA actuators with quality valves, clinched the project.
