| The Valve Manufacturers Association of America (VMA) hosted its annual meeting exclusive to VMA/VRC members October 11 – 13, 2017 in Fernandina Beach, FL. On Friday, October 13, 2017, Tony Pecora, AUMA Actuators, Inc.’s (AUMA-USA) Vice President of Business Development received the honors of VMA’s “Person of the Year” for 2017. “Person of the Year” award was inaugurated in 1974 to recognize an elite member of the VMA/VRC for his or her commitment to the industry and for their endless support. This is a prestigious award and AUMA-USA could not be more proud of Tony. Tony has been an active member of the VMA since AUMA-USA joined the association in 1993. As a member, Tony has served on VMA’s industry councils as well as several other committees and as of recent, nominating and program committee for the VMA/VRC’s annual meeting. AUMA-USA is proud of Tony and his accomplishments as he is a strong asset to our team and making AUMA the worlds’ leading actuator manufacturer. Congratulations, Tony Pecora, VMA’s 2017 “Person of the Year,” you are well deserving of this recognition .
